The Story Behind the Castelao Room
Long before welcoming guests, this building played an essential role in the daily life of the estate. During the 1950s, this structure served as the property's water well and storage reservoir, supplying water throughout the estate. For decades, it was here that water was an essential element for life at Vale da Roca.
Today, this historic structure has been thoughtfully transformed into one of Vale da Roca's most distinctive suites, carefully preserving its architectural character while embracing a new purpose.
