At Quinta Vale da Roca, the people behind the estate are involved in every part of its daily life. Throughout the year, our team looks after the vineyards and makes the wine, while also working on the gardens and all the facilities that make the Quinta feel welcoming.
We work across the estate, from the winery and vineyard to the rooms and guest experiences. On any given day, that might mean preparing breakfast, organising a tasting or picnic, welcoming guests or helping with the details of their stay. We are a small team, and often work across different areas, so everyone contributes wherever needed to care for the property and the people who visit it.
Dennerson Carvalho leads the strategic development of Quinta Vale da Roca.
He joined the estate during its early stages and has helped turn the property’s original vision into a successful destination. Much of his work sits behind the scenes, from planning and coordination to day-to-day decision-making, ensuring the estate can grow without losing its distinctiveness.
He now oversees the decisions that keep Quinta Vale da Roca moving forward, making sure that the future of the estate is a successful one.
João Ribas has transformed his passion for cultural heritage, sports, and wellbeing into a career centred on creating memorable experiences.
At Quinta Vale da Roca, he coordinates the estate’s wine tourism and wellness programmes. Specialising in active tourism and wine tourism, João leads technical guided tours, hosts wine tastings, and curates wine pairings for both intimate gatherings and larger groups. He also provides strategic support in the organisation of corporate and private events.
António Figueiredo is the Consulting Winemaker at Quinta Vale da Roca. He holds a degree and postgraduate qualification in Oenology and Viticulture, with more than 20 years of experience in winemaking and vineyard project management.
Since joining Quinta Vale da Roca in 2015, he has been responsible for guiding the estate’s winemaking, combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of the Colares region. His work focuses on crafting elegant and authentic wines that express the unique identity of Quinta Vale da Roca.
Charlene Gomes has spent over nine years in hospitality and housekeeping roles, and now coordinates the Housekeeping Team at Quinta Vale da Roca. Over the course of her career, she has led teams, organized daily routines and upheld high standards across the different hospitality units she has worked in. Charlene’s focus on precision and guest comfort means every corner of the estate is carefully maintained, so every guest feels comfortable and welcome.
Cleuza Miguel is part of the Housekeeping Team at Quinta Vale da Roca and also draws on her culinary background for private events, picnics, and other special moments on the estate. Before moving to Europe, she ran her own restaurant in Brazil, building a deep connection with food and the pleasure of gathering people around the table. Since joining Quinta Vale da Roca in 2025, her cooking has added warmth and flavor to the guest experience, both in estate care and in the delicious meals she prepares for special occasions.
Taciana Dias brings care, organization and attention to detail to her role at Quinta Vale da Roca. As part of the Housekeeping Team, she helps look after the rooms and shared spaces, always mindful of the well-being of every guest who stays at the estate. Her dedication and thoughtful approach are part of what makes staying at Quinta Vale da Roca a relaxing and memorable experience, from arrival to departure.
