Taste the Wines of Colares
The region of Colares, one of Portugal’s oldest wine regions, is known for the deep sandy soils that protected its vineyards from phylloxera and for distinctive varieties such as Ramisco and Malvasia de Colares
That same heritage continues at Quinta Vale da Roca: the vines grow in sandy soil, cooled by the coastal climate. The estate uses Malvasia de Colares, Encruzado, Arinto, and Pinot Noir to produce the wines poured during a guided tasting. This experience guides guests from the vineyard to the cellar, explaining how this unique coastal terroir translates into wines that are fresh, salty, and, above all, elegant.

Getting to Our Vineyard
Quinta Vale da Roca is located at Rua Casal Farripas 8, 2705-001 Azóia, Colares, Portugal.
The estate is approximately 20–30 minutes from Sintra center, 30–45 minutes from Lisbon, and only a few minutes from Cabo da Roca.
Free parking is available on site.
