We offer four modern e-bikes, perfect for cross-country mountain biking. You can easily rent them at the reception for the duration of your stay and explore the region while enjoying some outdoor exercise.
Cascais offers excellent facilities just a short drive from Quinta Vale da Roca. The Quinta da Marinha Racket Club features a wide range of courts, including 8 for tennis and 9 for padel, along with a modern clubhouse and spa. At Carcavelos Ténis & Padel Club, players will find 10 tennis courts and 5 padel courts. For a touch of tradition, the Estoril Tennis Club combines a historic setting with high-quality courts.
Our Quinta lies at the gateway to the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, offering some of the most diverse and scenic hiking routes in Portugal. From the vineyards, guests can set off directly towards the coast or into the hills of Sintra.
The famous Praia da Ursa, just 2 km away near Cabo da Roca, is considered one of Portugal’s most beautiful yet still little-known beaches. Guests of Quinta Vale da Roca are also within easy reach of Praia do Guincho, a renowned surfing and kitesurfing spot, as well as Praia Grande, Praia das Maçãs, and many other stunning beaches.
Within a 12 km radius, you’ll find several golf courses, including Oitavos, Quinta da Marinha, Estoril, Penha Longa, and Beloura.
Just a short drive from Quinta Vale da Roca lies the legendary Estoril Circuit, once home to the Portuguese Grand Prix. A must-visit for racing enthusiasts and Formula 1 fans, the track offers guided tours and events where you can experience the atmosphere of this historic motorsport venue. Whether you’re passionate about racing history or simply curious, a visit to Estoril adds a thrilling touch to your stay.
Very close to Quinta Vale da Roca you’ll also find charming villages – small treasures preserved over the years. Azenhas do Mar, Penedo, and Biscaia are just a few beautiful examples worth a visit. Rent one of our modern bikes to explore these places on a day tour.
