Hiking trails in Sintra-Cascais Natural Park

The countryside around Azóia is made for walking. Routes from and through the village connect the estate with Cabo da Roca, Peninha, the Sintra hills and the Atlantic beaches. Depending on your route, you can walk through vineyards and countryside, cross open hills and finish right beside the sea. Some of the most beautiful routes in the area are described below.

Before you set out: Routes vary in length, terrain and difficulty. Conditions can change quickly on the exposed coast, so check the route before starting, carry water and wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Ask the Quinta team for local guidance when planning your day.

For a different way to discover the coast and countryside, rent one of the Quinta’s four electric bikes. They make it easier to explore the local roads and trails at your own pace. Ask the team about availability and route suggestions.
